Grace Kim, PhD

Dr. Grace Kim joined Umoja as Strategic Advisor in 2023 and currently serves as Head of Investor Relations. She brings 20+ years of experience leading and advising companies of all growth stages on capital markets, finance strategy, and corporate strategy. Recent roles include Chief Strategy Officer, US Finance of MedinCell; Chief Strategy Officer of Molecular Templates; and CEO of SNO bio. Previous public companies she has worked for include BeiGene, Cullinan, BioMarin, Zai Lab, Celularity, Aimmune (Nestlé), and others.

Grace studied medicinal chemistry and pharmacology, earning a doctorate from University of Florida and completed post doc studies at the University of Chicago. She is published in Nature Clinical Oncology and holds an adjunct faculty position at Columbia University. She is also a Board Advisor for Life Science Cares, a national collective of executives who support the fight against poverty.
